"Photography came naturally to me. As I moved around the world, slowly I learned how to be an observer, carefully acknowledging my surroundings for the new places and cultures. And everything for me revolves around that, culture. That’s what I see when I look through the lens. Photography was my way of understanding culture and my way of surviving it as well."
Self-taught photographer and filmmaker based in Grand Haven, MI.
With over 10 years of experience, I got my first camera at 15 years old and never stopped looking through the viewfinder in search of good stills. Naturally, I leaned towards filmmaking and started dividing my time between photography and video.
Passionate about traveling and culture, I gaze upon life in a particular manner, always looking for captivating stories that new people and places can offer.
